Interim Ground Usage (Wharfage) and Detention Charges for Private Rakes and Containers at Dahej

1. Free Time for Ground Usage (Containers)

To remain competitive while addressing the current traffic trends at DDGFJ, the following free-time limits for ground use at Dahej Terminal for containers are authorized:

• Load Containers: 15 Days free time.
• Empty Containers: 30 days free time.
• Stacking Permission: 10 days from the date of 'Gate-In' or until the expiry of free time for rake loading, whichever is later.

2. Free Time for Rake Loading/Unloading (Detention)

A uniform free-time window for loading and unloading operations is hereby fixed for the following rake types:

• Rake Categories: Container Rakes, Private BTCS.
• Permissible Free Time: 12 Hours.

3. Applicable rates

In cases where the above mentioned free-time limits are exceeded, Ground usage Charges (Wharfage) and detention Charges (Demurrage) shall be levied.

• The rates for these charges shall be equivalent to the prevailing Indian railways (IR) rates for the Group-I CRT on IR.
• The relaxations in free time and stacking periods mentioned in Sections 1 and 2 shall override standard IR durations until further notice.
